Sony has announced it will be publishing indie games on the Switch and PC.

Sony's Music Entertainment division has created a new indie publisher called UNTIES, with which it hopes to "penetrate the ever-expanding video game market with indie games".

UNTIES will be publishing games for the PS4, PC and Switch, with its first title, turn-based tactics game Tiny Metal, set to be released on November 21.

In a statement, translated by PlayStation Lifestyle, Sony Music wrote that UNTIES goal is to unearth creative games which haven’t gotten the exposure they needed to succeed.

The publisher will “utilize Sony Music's vast entertainment business wisdom in order to expose them to as many consumers as possible”.

UNTIES has two other multi-platform titles planned, Merkava Avalanche and Last Standard. Platforms for those two are yet to be announced.
