Sony's PlayStation VR is getting a minor hardware refresh.
The new version features an updated design that enables stereo headphone cables to be integrated with the VR headset.
It also features a slimmer connection cable, and supports HDR pass through when the PS VR is off. Previously, those wanting to enjoy HDR content had to disconnect their PS VR unit.
The new version of PlayStation VR, model number CUH-ZVR2, will release in Japan on October 14. It is coming to North America at a later date, and will cost the same as the older model.
There's no mention of a European release.
