Australia's Blank Esports has finished the first round robin of the Overwatch Pacific Championships' second split of 2017 in fourth place with a record of 4-3.

The season one runner-up got off to a fine start in in its first week of split 2 action, racking up three easy wins and losing one match to Hong Kong Attitude.

However, it had a tougher time of it over the weekend, dropping matches to split one victors Fire Wolves and undefeated split two leader Ardeont, before rallying to beat Taiwan's Ahq Esports Club 3-1.

"Frustrating night. Far from playing at our potential. Got time to work it out. Please keep supporting us," tweeted Blank captain Andrew "Rqt" Haws.

Blank kicks off the first week of the second round robin with matches against Hong Kong Attitude – which also has a record of 4-3 – and sixth-placed Machi Esports.
