Two pieces of story DLC for Resident Evil 7 will launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC on December 12, Capcom has announced.

End of Zoe has players discover the titular character's fate, and it contains new enemies and new swamp-filled areas. It is included in the game's season pass, or you can buy it separately.

The DLC will also be included in the game's Gold Edition physical release, which also contains prior DLC releases Banned Footage Vol. 1 and Banned Footage Vol. 2.

Capcom also confirmed that the delayed Not A Hero DLC content will be available to download for free for owners of any version of Resident Evil 7 on December 12.

Not A Hero sees the return of Resident Evil fan favourite and veteran BSAA soldier Chris Redfield. Taking place after the horrific events that befell Ethan Winters in Resident Evil 7, Not a Hero has Chris face new threats not met in the main game.

Capcom added that "nearly all" content for PlayStation 4, including End of Zoe and Not a Hero, is compatible with PlayStation VR.
