Sign-ups are now open for the ASUS Republic of Gamers ROG Masters ANZ Qualifiers 2017.
The ROG Masters is a global Dota 2 and CS:GO tournament that features amateur and professional teams playing for a share of a US$500,000 prize pool.
Australia and New Zealand qualifiers begin on August 26, with CS:GO teams playing a three-week double elimination tournament. The tournament will run through Saturday September 2, with semi-finals and grand finals held on September 9.
Dota 2 teams play a one-day tournament on September 16.
The winners of these open qualifiers will then take on the might of the invited professional teams, and the winners that emerge there will land a place at the grand finals in November.
"Thanks to extremely positive feedback, ROG Masters returns this year as a global affair, inviting pro teams and amateur players from over 30 countries across five continents," said ROG marketing director Derek Yu.
"ROG Masters 2017 is a momentous milestone for ROG and esports, and we are excited be part of the driving force for esports at large."
