The man who has held the worldwide highest Xbox Gamerscore record for 11 years was finally overtaken last week, because he was too busy "having all the sex".
Ray "Stallion83" Cox was the first person in the world to pass every major Gamerscore milestone – including being the first to pass one million Gamerscore in 2014 – and has been recognised by Guinness World Records for his accomplishments.
However, over the weekend Cox got married and went on his honeymoon, and that allowed his long-time rival Stephen "smernov" Rowe to be the first person ever to surpass his Gamerscore total.
Upon hearing the news, Cox tweeted, "I've been too busy having all the sex."
In a blog post, new Gamerscore frontrunner Rowe said a five day weekend had allowed him to pull ahead, but work and family commitments would probably prevent him from holding the lead.
"I think it surprised most of you and myself really as it was never my goal to overtake Stallion83," he wrote.
"Since being #1 in TA for a while now (maybe 1 year?) I was sitting on a bunch of easy games while inching closer in gamerscore. Couple that with a 5-day long weekend with no distractions it was as good a time as ever to try.
"I'm pleased that I could snag #1 even if it may be short-lived by not changing my play style, which is completing games. That has always been my goal and still is what keeps me playing," he continued.
"I didn't want to start a bunch of games for the points, I wanted to maintain the way I have always played. Hats off to Stallion though, after almost 3 days of me playing sub 5 hour games he was still managing to stay ahead."
Rowe took first place thanks to a 28 game session that began with Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan and finished on ACA NEOGEO WORLD HEROES 2.
He completed 23 of those games, netting 24,150 Gamerscore in the process, but said he won't be applying for the Guinness World Record.
At the time of writing, his total Gamerscore is 1,592,115, with 500 games played and 326 completed. His average completion is 79 percent, and the last three games he played were Asphalt 8: Airborne, Farming Simulator 15, and Adventure Time.
Meanwhile, Cox's Gamerscore is 1,585,894, with 500 games played and 181 completed. His average completion is 70 percent, and the last three games he played were The Voice, Lego Dimensions, and Flock!.
