The Uncharted film will release on June 10, Sony has announced.

The Hollywood Reporter states that Uncharted: Drake's Fortune will fill the space left by the delay of Amazing Spider-Man 3, which is now slated for a 2018 release.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune’s screenplay is being written by David Guggenheim (Safe House, Stolen), and will be directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Identity Thief).

According to Gordon, shooting will commence in early 2015.
