A Lego game based on the Marvel superhero universe is on the way.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes is in development at Lego game veterans TT Games, and will be published by Warner Bros.

It features an original storyline in which Nick Fury calls upon Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Wolverine and other heroes to save Earth from Loki and Galactus.

More than 100 characters will be unlockable including Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Deadpool.

“We’re very excited to bring a myriad of classic Marvel characters to life in Lego form for some fun, family-friendly gameplay in Lego Marvel Super Heroes,” said TT Games managing director Tom Stone.

“Players will brave the ultimate mission to save the world as they explore famous landmarks in Lego New York and take the adventure beyond Earth to iconic locations in the Marvel Universe.”

Lego Marvel Super Heroes will be out in spring on 3DS, DS, PC, PlayStation 3, Vita, Wii U and Xbox 360.
