Nintendo has unveiled a stripped-down Wii that will be available in Canada this holiday season.
The Wii Mini lacks Internet capability, and unlike its big brother is not backwards compatible with GameCube titles.
It comes with a Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller, and is priced at US$100 (AU$95).
It is not known whether the console will be made available in other regions.
According to Nintendo, 300,000 Wii units were sold in the US last week.
The Wii Mini releases on December 7.
