Alan Wake developer Remedy has posted a job listing seeking a programmer with experience in motion-control technology.

The listing says that the programmer will be working on a “AAA console project” for the Xbox 360 and will be built on the “next iteration of Remedy’s unique game engine that was previously used in Alan Wake.”

Remedy has previously said they’re interested in creating a sequel to Alan Wake. The studio recently announced that no further downloadable content packs (or “episodes”) would be released for the first title.

Alan Wake was by and large a critical success but underperformed at retail having been released too close to Rockstar’s blockbuster, Red Dead Redemption.
