Snippets: Dissidia sequel announced, Plants vs. Zombies on XBLA tomorrow

Here’s a roundup of today’s news found elsewhere on the internet:

Kitase: Kinect, Move "awkward" for RPGs (eurogamer) - Microsoft and Sony reckon their motion control devices Kinect and Move will revolutionise the game industry, but one big hitter remains unconvinced of their relevance to that most hardcore of genres: the role-playing game.

Plants vs. Zombies on XBLA tomorrow (eurogamer) - PopCap's puzzle tour-de-force Plants vs. Zombies will be released tomorrow on Xbox Live Arcade.

There's no mention of a price just yet, but we do know the Xbox 360 version of the game gains multiplayer.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy sequel announced in Japan (vg247) - A sequel to Dissidia: Final Fantasy has been announced in Japan’s Shonen Jump magazine for PSP.

BioWare reveals Mass Effect 2 stats (vg247) - Did you know that the most-played class in Mass Effect 2 is Soldier, more so then any other class combined? No? Did you know that only two PC players finished it 28 times and it was completed 23 times by four players on 360? You do now.

Uncharted 2's Elena working with Naughty Dog on more DLC (Joystiq) - Uncharted 2 has seen a fair share of DLC since its release. Most recently, the Siege Expansion Pack added new character skins, new maps and a new mode to the game's multiplayer mode. However, it appears Naughty Dog isn't quite done yet and has enlisted Emily Rose -- the actor behind Elena -- to reprise her role yet again. A Sony representative told Kotaku that the actor "will be working with Naughty Dog on some DLC content."

I turned off the stat tracking in my copy of ME2. It seemed utterly pointless without the extensive Bioware Social integration that Dragon Age had, stupid lazy console porting team.

28 times.

I've never completed a game more than 5 times.

Sweet Dissidia is one of the best games on PSP. Can't wait for the sequel.

different classes, different choices, and different combinations would be my guess.

then there are personal goals, like speed runs, weapon usage etc.

Dissidia was rad but i would have liked other characters than just the main heroes/villains, hopefully they add lots of new fighters (tifa , sora , laguna, Seymour, etc)

oh hell no. its a good game, but bloody hell... I couldnt even manage more than a second playthrough

I'm hoping to see Garnet FF9 and Rikku FF10 on Dissidia

28 play throughs...........thats 27 more times than me! Well done.

I'd say I've probably finished Diablo 2 that many times (Normal through to end of Hell difficulty)

Plants vs Zombies sounds like fun with multiplayer too, pity it has come out soo late, I've already played the snot out of it.
