Take-Two has confirmed that Rockstar’s LA Noire will now be released in the first half of 2011.

The game was originally scheduled for late this year but since that announcement was made, only a handful of screenshots have been released.

The news comes as part of Take-Two’s quarterly financial results, which are extremely positive. The publisher’s revenues are up 273 percent year-on-year for the quarter ending July 31.

Those glowing figures owe themselves in no small part to another Rockstar title, Red Dead Redemption, which has sold 6.9 million units.
