In a conference call to investors today, THQ boss Brian Farrell has said that there will be more Saints Row and Darksiders in 2011. New instalments in each franchise will appear at some time after April 2011, in the company’s financial year for 2012.

Saints Row 2, released in 2008, was well received critically. Gameplanet scored the game 8.5/10.

Vigil Games’ Darksiders, released only last month, was similarly well received. The sequel will apparently be developed side by side with THQ’s new Warhammer 40K MMO – a busy year for the studio, then. We scored Darksiders 9/10.

Finally, THQ have also announced that they will be working on a new instalment of Wii exclusive de Blob.
