Gameplanet Game of the Year finalists

The Gameplanet Game of the Year poll finished in a dead-heat between Dragon Age: Origins and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, so we're going to conduct a finalists round!

Batman, MW2 close second on my list, campaign wasn't long enough

Borderlands, but it was a tough choice between that and Arkham Asylum.

Havn't had time to finish DragonAge yet, but I have to admit it's close from what I have played.
I've been a Batman fan since childhood tho. So the Dark Knight is still my running favourite.

Dragon Age comfortably.

Dragon Age, very closely followed by Batman...Call of Duty would rate as my most dissapointing game EVER (especially the single player despite what people seem to say about it).

I don't own the others so for me L4D2 has been an awesome game so far.

Uncharted 2 for me hands down, batman was good but its not best game of the year at all.

bring on 2010 Bad Company 2.

Uncharted easily.

Being an exclusive title I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of people voting haven't played it, and therefore vote for another game they have played and enjoyed.

pc vs console

Batman was a great game, but Uncharted 2 blew that game out of the water.

Uncharted 2 also ticks all the right boxes, having excellent graphics, superb voice acting that is mo-capped for perfect syncing, great storyline that takes about 10-12 hours to complete for the average player (plenty for an action-adventure game). Soundtrack was well done (better than Hans Zimmer's MW2 in my opinion). Awesome game, there just isn't enough superlatives to describe it.

I dont have a PS3 so I can't comment on Unchartered but from what I have seen it looks awesome. If only the PS3 had better control pads!!! I would have to give my vote to either Batman or Borderlands. MW2 was a let down. The only good thing about that game was spec ops.

I've only seen Dragon Age, L4D2 and CoDMW2, and only played Borderlands, but tbh Dragon Age looks like the better one.
