Errant superhero titles Thor and Captain America have been tentatively dated for May and July 2011 respectively according to Marvel’s most recent quarterly financial report.
Originally announced in 2007, both games will now coincide with their movie counterparts during the US’s 2011 summer blockbuster season.
Making his debut in both mediums, Thor will star Chris Hemworth on the big screen (most recently known for his role as Kirk’s father in Star Trek) with support from pop-culture dabbler Anthony Hopkins.
Captain America and the Avengers has not yet had a cast announced, but has been a staple in the videogame world for nearly 20 years.
