New Zealand's most successful Quake clan, "Dust to Dust" (D2D) will be flying to Sydney on Tuesday the 19th of September to compete in the Australian Battletop Tournament (total prize pool of AU$100,000). The event is a qualifier for the World Cyber Games Challenge (total prize pool of US$300,000) scheduled for early October and to be held in Korea.
The team members travelling over and the games they will be entering are: Mirage (Quake 3, Age of Empires 2 and Starcraft); Dab 18 (Quake 3, FIFA); Orange9mm (Quake 3, Age of Empires 2, FIFA); JB (Quake 3, Age of Empires 2, Starcraft and FIFA); JP (Quake 3, Starcraft); and Necro (Quake 3, Starcraft). In June 1999, D2D played in the national Australian QuakeWorld team deathmatch competition. The NZ Herald outlined the clan's success in a recent story.
