Steam’s Big Picture mode is out of beta and available to all, Valve has announced.

Big Picture mode allows gamers to easily play Steam games on a television, and has been designed to be used with a traditional gamepad, while also fully supporting keyboard and mouse input.

Steam Workshop content, account information, and preferences are all accessible in the new mode. Big Picture also features a new web browser specifically designed for televisions and game controllers.

To celebrate the launch, over thirty controller-friendly games are on sale from now until December 10, with Alan Wake, Orcs Must Die 2, Left 4 Dead, Space Marine, and others at 75 per cent off.
